A thought on Podmafia

Secondcast failed because it degenerated into a group of egos fighting to be heard over each other, and the audience eventually stopped giving a crap what each person was struggling to say.

Podmafia is a genuine conversation/discussion, and that is the basis by which it will engage the listener and succeed.

Right or wrong?

I'm going to admit that the episodes of The Goddess and Banana that I listened to were on the downward slide of the show, so my initial impressions of the podcast there weren't great. But hearing Yxes in the Podmafia conversations, the word is blossom. And Stuart has opened up quite a bit as well on there. Gomem's somewhat hobbled by all the travel, but he still gets into the conversation there and has something to contribute.

Hrm... should I review and contemplate other podcasts in SLPN as well?

And, for that matter, my own?

The Grid apparently didn't pick up on SLPN's launch.

It's hard keeping track of a few hundred blog feeds, but perhaps this little link and a follow-up email will catch Stone's attention.
