I'm getting word that SingingArc may have been canceled?
What gives?
UPDATE: CONFIRMED.
UPDATE 2: You now have until Jan 31st to "save" it.
And now, the reveal : I did not purchase tickets for SingingArc.
There had been chatter about room rates at the Rio, and as anyone who knows Vegas knows, group rates with a Vegas hotel are much, much less than the standard rates.
I'm not exactly digging out of dumpsters, but I'm not about to spend what I don't need to spend.
Since I hadn't heard anything about room rates, I held back on the event tickets, plane tickets, and hotel room booking until word of those came out.
Is this not being supportive of SL musicians, or is this just being cautious?
Now that there's a period in which to "save" it, I expect Pulaski to tell the travel agent working on the package to fire up an alt and, quite literally, go fuck themselves. Then to get a new travel agent who knows how to work on a deadline and get together a group rate for the rooms so people like me can budget for this thing.
If you got a problem with me just posting this to a blog, Pulaski, how about we meet up at Cabo's at your earliest convenience and I'll buy the first round of frozens so I can tell it to your face. Then, we'll laugh, and maybe I can help with something. Or not.
In the meantime, EvaMoon Ember posted about a festival in Redmond that might attract some SL-ers.
If it's during the Lavender Festival in Sequim, how does one get from Dungeness Bay to Redmond?
