Reading an article in MIT Technology Review that I noticed in the Twitterstream.

When M Linden talks about expanding the resident base, is he taking into account concurrency limits in both the overall grid and limitations at the sim/region level?

Look - as long as you can pack more people into a typical movie theater than a venue, I'm not convinced that big business is going to be pouring back into the grid.

Smaller and medium-sized businesses, however, might find that web-based services or kiosk-based marketing will work. By using the "belling the cat" method of distributing your kiosk, you aren't beholden to a single location.

I mean, when was the last time you went to OnRez Island to shop via OnRez, eh?
