Sleep eludes me for the moment...

It's not a career.
It's not even much of a job.
It's just a paycheck.

Over. And over. And over.

Yeah, my cheese has been moved. And it's looking like there's only just ways out.

Maybe where I work at now will realize I've never quite fit with what I do, so perhaps there's something else I can do that I might actually enjoy and do well?

Not likely. Only the "in" folks seem to get those opportunities, shopped around enthusiastically.

Not, and never been one of them.

Where I see room for improvement and efficiency, it's just seem as pointing out flaws.

Friends have written me to get me to send them their resumes. Their places are looking for people.

It I don't meet the bill, will they provide me the resources and tools and materials to train up and do well?

Will I be enjoying a soul-crushing commute again?

Perhaps I just just take a bath and soak for a while.

We'll be potting some plants in the garden this weekend.

The Mrs. has said we'd do that for... how many weekends in a row?

I'll just get the poll ready for the Weekly Challenge, finish the show notes, prep all the files for assembly, and maybe that will wear me out to the point of going back to sleep.

And if all goes to hell, well, I'll be online a lot more than I was before (is that possible?), and we can always get those kittens, right? Someone will be around all the time to make sure that Nardo doesn't kill them... or they don't kill Nardo.
