I've been thinking about the Olympics and Triathlons and Strongman competitions a bit.
Not much. Just a bit.
Anyway, with all the crashes people experience, I was figuring that a fun competition would be an SL Obstacle Course.
Stick in all the hazards of SL:
- Sim crossing
- Sitting
- Controlling a vehicle
- Watching streaming video media
- Buying lindens
- Sending out a group notice
- Listening to streaming audio media
- Rezzing outfits
- Taking a snapshot
- Sending a postcard
- Making a forum post
- Changing outfits
- Uploading textures
- Teleporting
And so on.
Then have people run the course to see how far they get before they crash.
If contestants go the distance, then they're judged based on finishing time.

I'd suggest something like a prize for those who can wear the most flexi's and/or scripted items w/out crashing or to the point of crashing.

Flying and Not Bouncing your head off of anything and landing within a target area... land not crash to the ground.
