Normally I catch Science Friday on the podcast, but this time I caught it in-world:
Why do I listen via podcast? Because no stations in Houston carry the show.
Yeah, yeah... folks say this town is on the top of the heap these days, but there's also so many reasons why it's still an ignorant cow-town at heart.
Before the show started, there was a bit of a ruckus between a Bush Derangement Syndrome sufferer, some Bushies, and individuals in between.
It's a Science show, folks. Unless you can debate the issue without venom and invective, take your shit to IM.

I think for a science show even without venom and invective that's probably not an appropriate argument to have...
Unless perhaps the discussion is about Bush's anti science policies. But even then, it would probably be best to keep the discussion to the fact based world.
with an approval rating slightly lower than child rapists, the only people who haven't gotten on the anti bush bandwagon these days seem to be in govt. not in SL.
