Even though a lot of effects in the clocktower venue are controlled by my silly color-coded HUD, I still like to toss in a few manually-altered prims now and then for fun's sake.
For instance, changing glow settings on the floor and walls to ridiculous levels:
THE NEON! IT BURNS! IT BURNS MY EYES!
Particles get a little weird when passing over glowing surfaces, too:
It was when I first noticed a red transparent texture overlaying a blue transparent texture coming up with... with... (dang it, I forget... does light work by addition or by reduction?) whatever it came up with, I was like COOL! and then, instead of trying to cure cancer with my discovery, attempted to make a cool dance floor effect with it.
Same goes for going nuts with Glow. I may not be solving World Peace or Hunger, teaching kids to Lindyhop instead of strapping on a semtex vest (or at least in addition to, since nobody would ever suspect a 9 year-old Lindyhopping suicide bomber.), but I can sure burn out your retinas and video cards while you're tripping out on Xax's tuneage.
