My wife had me buy our nephew a SpaceNavigator for Christmas, so I used Amazon to get it.
Much to my surprise, I saw this in email:

Thank you,
Amazon.com
I checked their website, and sure enough, it is legit.
Wow. Cool.
So if you're buying electronics or music through Amazon this year, you can use the $5 download credit to help promote Second Life music by buying through music through Amazon.
If I had known about this earlier, I'd certainly have mentioned it in my fun promo on The Beat Chicks Podcast with Hopalicious Clary.
The other way is a promotion Pepsi is having with Amazon.
5 Pepsi Points = one download.
I'm not sure what the limitations are on this promotion, but if anybody's managed to cash in Pepsi Points for downloads of SL music, please let me know in the comments.
(The gallery for Amazon downloads is in the mall at Selby, or you can go to the http://riaa.isfullofcrap.com/ website and look for the Amazon links.
I don't really like Pepsi. I'm a Coke Zero and 7Seas Engine Oil kinda robot, eh.

Was just about to mention the Pepsi points, and I got an email this AM about that promotion. (I've got an Amazon partner account and they like to keep us informed of these promos).
I'm w/ you on the Coke Zero, not so much on the Engine Oil, though Klickbot might enjoy that...
