The Five Pillars of Lovemachinism

According to Love Machine, they are:

  • the right band of people
  • can work together
  • have a huge amount of fun
  • make a bunch of money
  • try to save the world

So, by leaving Linden Lab, does this mean that Philip Rosedale has come to believe that Linden Lab is:

  • the wrong band of people
  • can't work together
  • don't have a huge amount of fun
  • aren't making a bunch of money
  • not trying to save the world

If true, that would explain a lot.

Tat Nino ponders startups and Love Machine systems.

Me, I think Codie's gear-heart logo is much nicer than Phil's "Studded Boobs" heart symbol. (Someone needs to check the Nipple Machine on the assembly line again)

A low quality rant:

Would you trust your company's future to a guy who wants to hang out in bars, doesn't have a business plan yet, tells people to talk to him instead of posting what the hell his company can do for you, and his website looks like 1997 is back and here to stay?

I'm sorry to say Crap it means even more. SecondLife is slowly coming in second place.

Sunshine Kukulcan:

I think this should be added to the leave list:

*make a shitload of money as a outside consultant.
