Since the Vampire marketing campaign is working great, I guess Linden Lab is going to release a campaign for Ghosting too?
After all, Mainland's just one big Ghost Town, right?
Ooooh... what about a Whoopi Goldberg avatar that ghosted avatars can possess and communicate through.
SAM WHEAT! SAM WHEAT! (Where's my fuckin' Oscar?)
Don't go kissin' Demi, though... unless you have a mouthful of nitrious (she loves that shit, man.)
The low-priority treatment and lack of public awareness on this issue further demonstrates a lack of... well... giveashitness.
A company that throws its customer-facing agents to the wolves instead of providing them with real-time status updates, workarounds, and tools to solve issues (or escalate them to those who can solve them) is a company that has contempt for its customers and does not value their business.
When I use Exodus, issues are RIGHT UP THERE AT THE LOGIN SCREEN!
Can you say the same of the official viewer? The homepage?
*crickets*
Despite the slow death of the grid, people are still making cool things:
Good. I want to be surrounded with luxuries and art when the end comes.
Oh, and friends.
Surround me with them too, okay?
Perhaps we'll escape to Mars?
Nah.
I love it when I run into SL-ers in RL... a good opportunity to catch up and see how they're doing.
On my walk back from Target and the deli, I saw Thoth:
(Folks look at us funny, but it's probably because he goes by the name Thoth when he looks like Anubis, right?)
Oh, and Cady...

Today's blogroll addition is Ahuva Heliosense.
A little exploration and travel, a bit of music and how she enjoys it.
A pleasant reminder that it's okay to ignore all the noise and just enjoy it all, right?
(As I said, introspection and personal journeys this week, but I'll ponder a few artists and writers, too.)
I only wrote 1 story on Saturday and 1 story on Sunday.
Yeah, it's what I promised myself, but it just felt... weak.
Oh well. I've got mid-August through December to get recorded, and then I'm going to be solid and ready up to May 1 of 2013.
I'm really looking forward to clearing those decks so I can intensify my tagging, archiving, and preparing for the next step in all this writing crap.
And with that, the workweek begins.
Yeah, I grabbed Cloud 9 from iTunes the other day. Needed me some George.
"If That's What It Takes" keeps going through my mind for things SL... RL... watching Nardo get creakier... creakier... is he telling me it's over yet... he purrs while the baby panthers jump up to the bed and clean his ears.
He'll let me know.
So, yeah... it's getting to me, but Ed Wynn said it all, right?

Hmm.
Came close to the heart. ♡\(//∇//)\★
