Nothing unusual. Nothing strange.
The Off-Ramp
This is my rundown of posts on other blogs that I think you'll like better than this one. (I'm sure I'm just clicking past a ton of good stuff, or not reading it on my blogroll. Shame, really...)
Storyfest Schedule - I'm batting in the catcher's spot.
March Mesh Madness - Inara
Doug Savage continues to be awesome
Carnival of the Cats
This is one of my reasons why Immy's a good person, demons or not
Daily Dash: Fragment (Still writing boo hoo cat stories. Ugh. SNAP OUT OF IT!)
It's okay if you leave. I'm not jealous.
Enjoy for a while, right?
AvaHeart's still going on for the rest of the month, in case you haven't made a heart or picked up one of the many nice hearts folks have made.
This is why the West side of Edloe is the fallow parcel:
Yeah, I can deal with that.
Healthwise, this has been a brutal week for me.
Shit, a brutal 8 months, if you think about it.
I started rushing back home instead of doing my long hikes, stress-eating... you name it, I fucking lost it.
Turning things around and getting some hikes back into my routine would be easier if I hadn't have been bitten by that radioactive sea cucumber. (Think about it. Then go ewwwwwww.)
My guts are still knitting themselves back together slowly.
At some point, I'll be sturdy enough to get back to long hikes. Until then, it's light meals and as little solid food as possible.
But at least the good news is that the scale's a bit friendlier... even if it's hard to keep my eyes focused long enough to read it.
(What's the doctor's number again so I can be told it's the same old shit that'll eventually kill me, but heavier and nastier?)
Kristine made a much nicer plaque for the bridge than I quickly rigged up.
Thank you, Kris. (But no orange prim cats with halos and wings sitting on the posts please, okay?)
Metaverse Journal is today's addition to the blogroll.
Yeah, we've already got a lot of news and analysis sources in the blogroll, but Metaverse Journal occasionally picks up on something from a different angle.
As for the opinion pieces from Miss Makeupbreakupmakeupbreakup, which I assume she's flakes out on and given up on after saying how great they'll be and... and... and... (snore)
zzzzrkt! Huh? Did I fall asleep again?
Well... um... (quietly clicks the X in the corner of the window).
Another hundred or so stories wordcounted and cleaned up... finishing 2007 tonight and keeping up the pace.
As for writing new ones, most of them are suffering from Dead Cat Syndrome and are getting tossed into the drawer.
At some point, I'll see the weird world again behind this one and I'll tell tales of it.
Until then, junk.
Ugh.
No sign of the park kitties this morning.
Yeah, I forgot treats again. Picked up a kolache, tore out the ham and cheese, and left it for them.
(Tossed the rest. I don't need to be eating that crap.)
I hate having to release the hounds.
It gets old really, really fast, man.
