WHAT IS THIS CRAP?

refusing to suffer fools since… since… when exactly did you get here?

How you gonna…

The Off-Ramp

This is my rundown of posts on other blogs that you should be reading instead of this one.

This is not 1944
I want a cat cafe!
What's going on at Seanchai tonight?
Money For Cute
How can you not love a restaurant review that has "who gives a crap?" in it?
Carrie has a new template!
That's a lot of prims...
If stations lie about their ratings, why should we believe their newscasts?
Guns are good!
Daily Dash: Paint - I think I can break out of my rut now.

Still want to read my garbage?

Fine... open wide!

I'm kinda jealous of Honour's skill with Windlight and her intrepid adventures, so in my new effort to build my strength back up I wandered around Buffalo Bayou in Downtown Houston again over lunchtime.

It's good to get up and walk around now that I don't need the "close my eyes and tell the world to fuck off" naps anymore, right?

Wortham Center, Downtown Houston

It's so real, you can almost touch it!

Bayou Place, Downtown Houston

Isn't it amazing what Mesh can do?

Bridge over Buffalo Bayou, Downtown Houston

And finally, the tree that convinced me to go with a Clocktree... The Hanging Oak!

Hanging Oak, Downtown Houston

I need to spend more time in those building, filling me up with them thar culture stuff... still budgeting for 1 thing a month, but not following up on it enough, dang it.

As for the walks, it's still nice out, but getting hotter every day. Soon, I'll be driven back into the tunnels.

Oh well. Enjoy it while it lasts, right? And the wretched long hikes from hell will be back soon, burning the garbage out of my system one bead of sweat at a time.

(In case you're wondering, these are slow-paced strolls and not high-speed hikes like I used to do. Taking it easy until everything's healed up.)

Today is Lauren's.
Tomorrow is stories in Taralyn's big bed
Thursday is Matthew at Chilbo.
Saturday is Storyfest.

Yeah, it's gonna be a long week.

Maybe I should, like, write some stories or something?

Thank goodness for the archives... cleaned up another page and a half of stories to close out 2007.

The archives are getting thicker with stories, though... just keep slogging on, and maybe write something now that my mind is clearing up and I can see the weirdness beyond the world.

@SupportLinden Is there a chart anywhere that lays out what issues are covered by which support channels, and what's outside the scope?

After ten years, if they don't know what support methods should be used for which issues, how can we?

And now, your daily mention of Miss Makeupbreakupmakeupbreakup, just to annoy her.

There. Done.

(Should I make that text bright pink?)

Shall we go back to art for the blogroll?

Okay... I'm really liking the RL artwork that Scottius Pole has been posting as of late. His style of found art and assemblage in SL matches it.

Bryn, Soror, JueL and others have been showing off RL art, and I wish my numbers were strong enough to add to my collection at home, but this year's the year to buy a house... just like last year... and the year before... and the year before that...

*sigh*

(These days, would Grace Kendall's art be a thousand photographs of other people's art?)

No cats under the bridge as I got into work.

I left them treats anyway, and I will visit them during lunch and on the way home.

Why? Because I want to, and I can.

Applesauce.
Iced tea.
Pudding.
Chicken soup.
Yogurt.
Bananas.

Yeah, I live the charmed soft-food life now.

(I miss tabasco... but not as much as my dumb orange buddy with big fat feet.)

About The Author

I am me. This causes some people significant discomfort and concern. To a rare few, it's an intolerable outrage. Good.

So I'm not the only person who walks around the physical world and recognizes the windlight settings? What a relief! :p
